The Chinese 'bowl' differs from the Western dinner plate in that the size and shape of the bowl makes it easy to hold in both hands. This collection combines the shape of rice and bowl , starting from the most basic relationship between human beings and objects, as well as emphasising ‘Unity of Man and Nature’ in traditional Chinese aesthetic thought.
