Pengfei Zhu

Pengfei Zhu graduated from the School of Manual Arts of Shandong Institute of Arts and Crafts in 2014. In the same year, he was admitted to the School of Fine Arts of Shanghai University. During his postgraduate period, he studied dynamic interactive jewellery and graduated in 2017. After graduation, he worked in Shanghai Zhimao Company, and then went to Heqing, Yunnan province to learn metal forging skills. From 2019 to 2022, he worked in the Jewellery Department of Zhejiang University, Tongji University. Currently, he works and lives in Hangzhou, and works as a professional teacher in the jewellery major of Handicraft College of China Academy of Art.

Starting in 2014, Zhu tries to create mechanical dynamic features of jewellery, emphasizing an interactive sense of engagement.In the later learning phase, He focuses on how mechanics can reflect the form of human interaction or human interaction,

Zhu took an active part in the exhibition. In recent years, he won the gold, bronze and best creative awards in the 12th and 13th Shanghai Jade Dragon Awards respectively. Besides, he participated in the Florence (China) International Design Biennale in 2019 and the 47th Annual Exhibition of the North American Goldsmiths Association in 2018.
