Xiaoxin Wang, born in 1981 in Yangquan City, Shanxi Province, China, graduated from the Department of Arts and Crafts and Sculpture of School of Tsinghua University with a bachelor's degree and master's degree. He is currently the party branch secretary, associate professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Arts and Crafts, School of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University. He is also the director of China Arts and Crafts Association, and vice chairman of Jewellery Design Committee of China Jewellery and Jade Jewellery Industry Association.
Wang is an experimental artist, researcher and curator,he is working in the field of arts and crafts. He is committed to exploring the collaborative relationship between new creation technology and traditional creation means. His works have been invited many international exhibitions such as the New Era China Good Art Exhibition, the second—National Arts and Crafts Exhibition, etc. As a curator, He has organized and planned many important academic exhibitions with international visibility, including: Integrity · Innovation—Beijing International Contemporary Enamel Art Exhibition, Integration:Ancient & Modern—China International Contemporary Metal Art Exhibition, Metal Narrative—International Contemporary Metal Art Exhibition, etc.
