Yingze Chen

Summary Works

Chen Yingze, manager of NANZUOKI brand, was born in August 1990 in Zhangzhou, Fujian, China, and graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts in 2013, majoring in jewelry design and metal crafts. He now lives in Jingdezhen and is engaged in design and artistic creation.

Chen Yingze, who studied painting from an early age, enrolled in Nanjing University of the Arts in 2009. Traditional aesthetics and religious culture nourish his spiritual world, which has been influenced by his birthplace. At the same time the openness of the times creates more learning opportunities for him. It has been more then ten years since he did not rigidly adhere to tradition, accepting and appreciating other civilizations, regarding silver as paper and hammer as pen, he has been expressing contemporary art with traditional handicrafts.
