Here we are, Collect!

BR Gallery is the only gallery focusing on contemporary metal in mainland China. Established in 2018, the gallery encourages the metal art practice that can develop the dynamic connections between Chinese traditional culture and contemporary context, seeking the harmony and beauty of the mix.With three days to go before the event, BR gallery  will share with you the jewelry works of five artists participating.

Collect 2023 is the UK debut of BR Gallery, and it is delighted to bring the 12 most influential artists from China, to present an exciting cross-section of contemporary Chinese metal art that seeks on the one hand to showcase the long tradition of metalworking in China, while embracing more contemporary interpretations, be they conceptual, a re-interpretation of traditional craft culture or keenly mapping materiality’s agency and relations in today’s rapidly changing society.
